I'm mainly playing a female human thief in GW2. I'm a guy but I thought female are tiny, so won't be easily targeted in PvP. When I found out Asura is more qualified for this I'm already lv 30. My ID in the game is Valar Morghulis Zw. My favourite quote from Game of Thrones+my initial(Apparently the system didn't support the second capital letter).
I'm turning 26 this year. Any particular about me, maybe I created some records during my undergraduate study: "wiped"(failed) 5 courses
, changed 4 majors, transferred overseas, and finally graduated with first-class standing. So I spent 7 years to get my bachelor's degree. Why that happened? WoW and DOTA in my second and third year, so I didn't balance play, life and study. So after I got transferred into this Canadian university, I finally found a major that I enjoy (Accounting), then I studied hard and didn't touch any MMOs during my study. Then here I am, graduated last week, got an admission into an 8-month graduate program that will bring me to the final exam of CPA. So I have time to play MMO before the program starts, the difference is I know what I want in real life and what can achieve in games.
I've heard GW2 at the end of 2013, but as I said before, I kept a distance from any MMO while I was studying. So I just started to play in April after I had finished all my undergrad courses. I didn't know what fractals are before I saw Stalvros' posting and joined the guild, then I watched Miranda's videos and had a few runs with her Necromancer so I could get hands-on experience in fractals.
So I love the fact that people are nice and supportive in this guild! Now my pr is 11 and ar is 5, and I'll try keep running every day till I get to high levels. I'm really enjoying this game but I know some day I may be AFK to work hard for CPA test. It will be sad feeling like when I quit WoW. I hope that day comes later then I expected so I can meet more people in the game, pay back to who helped me and help more people.
At last, quote from Game of Thrones “You win or you die", and that's why I chose thief "you win or you down".
